For the migration political blog of the Heinrich Böll Foundation I was interviewed about the project Alphabet of Arrival for which I produced a comic about traumatized refugees who are still minors.
The German television station NDR did a piece about my work on Hermann - we interviewed the editor of the German newspaper Die Welt, Stefan Aust, who was one of the only journalists to be let in to my families home, after Hermanns suicide.
The German newspaper TAZ interviewed me and asked questions about the work process of my graphic novel Hermann and about Odradek, the online magazine I founded with four other illustrators.

In 2016 I was one of the finalists for the Berthold Leibinger Prize with the first draft of my graphic novel about my uncle Hermann Brinkmann and conscientious objection in the 1970ies.
